The BPTrends Associates (BPTA) BPM Curriculum and Certificate Program establishes a consistent, integrated and scalable BPM Methodology, including a common language and common tools and techniques that assure efficient collaboration among all process practitioners within an organization.
The entire curriculum is based on market research and feedback from BPM thought leaders and our global partners and clients in the international BPM community. Addressing market requirements and current BPM Trends, our BPM programs and services are now more robust and rigorous, feature the most up-to-date technologies, tools and techniques, and are designed to support a global industry standard.
The BPTA BPM Curriculum is recognized by the following well-known and respected organizations in the BPM community: the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®), the Association of Business Process Management Professionals™ (ABPMP™), and the Object Management Group™ (OMG™). BPTA is an OMG™ endorsed BPM training company, an IIBA® Endorsed Education Provider (EEP™) and an ABPMP™ Registered Training Provider™ (RTP™).
The Professional and Advanced Professional Curricula focus primarily on process change projects. They provide the skills needed to redesign specific processes.
The Process Architecture Curriculum focuses on developing an enterprise-wide understanding of an organization’s processes, developing a business process architecture, aligning process measures and establishing a process governance system and CoE.
At the Implementation Level HR and IT teams are focused on designing human systems and software systems to implement business processes. The BPTA methodology does not include a Curriculum Program focused on the Implementation Level. However, it does define an interface and uses standard notations, like BPMN, to assure a smooth transition between Process Redesign and HR and IT implementation efforts. There are many available methodologies that are appropriate at the Implementation level and BPTA works with our strategic partners to provide courses in those areas that integrate with the BPTA methodology.
